"Australia Service Suspension - 30/1/2012
Due to various compounding factors over the past 24 months, Kiwi Car Carriers has found it necessary to review the service ex Japan to Australia.
As a result of this review, we regret to advise that further sailings to Australia will be suspended AFTER Hoegh Chennai v.18 (ETD JPN mid February 2012).
Your support over the many years we have operated in the trade has been much appreciated, and we will be sure to contact you should we decide to reintroduce sailings in the future."
"Change of KCC Odometer Inspection and Vehicle Inspection Service - 24/1/2012
Please be advised that the complementary odometer inspection and vehicle photo service arrangements for Kiwi Car Carriers have changed.
From February 1st, this service previously provided by Automotive Technologies (ATL), will be provided by Jevic in Nagoya and ATJ in Kobe and Kisarazu .
Both Jevic and ATJ are approved by the NZ MAF and NZTA for inspection services in Japan, which they are currently providing Kiwi Car Carriers at the above mentioned TRS facilities.
We are confident they will provide the very best service for the odometer inspections and photographs as well.
The odometer inspection is a non-invasive inspection and is provided for all vehicles by default, however you may contact your local KCC office should you not wish it to be performed."

To better continue to offer the best service through what is expected to be a challenging 2012, KIWI has consolidated its TRS operations to Kobe, Nagoya, and Kisarazu. Vehicles still remaining in Osaka and Kawasaki yards may be shipped during the month of January, or may be moved to the nearest KIWI TRS on KIWI account. KIWI will continue to provide the long list of free services: free odometer inspection, free digital photographs, free KIPS insurance, free 21 days storage, free radiation inspections, and will always strive to add more value wherever possible.
